A little late in posting these, but better late than never. Amber and John had a romantic vintage chic wedding held at Vista West Ranch out in Dripping Springs, Texas. They had a full dessert bar, in which I provided the wedding cake and the adorable pie pops (the bride’s idea!). Enjoy taking a look at the beautiful photos from Nikki Peterson.

Laura and Joel got married at the Austin wedding venue, Mayfield Nature Preserve. Their wedding had a very “homespun” feel to it, which I loved…and I think the lace detailed wedding cake went perfectly with the look and feel they were trying to achieve on their big day. The cake was alternating tiers of Vanilla and Chocolate cake, both with a fresh raspberries and cream filling. finalized with vanilla buttercream, with fondant accents.

Shelly and Brent got married earlier this spring at the Zilker Botanical Gardens. Their wedding cupcakes were Lemon Cake with Cream Cheese Icing and Milk Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Buttercream. I was told at delivery, that the Bride and Groom figurines were truly “Vintage”, they had been used in family weddings for three generations!

This wedding was held at Buca di Beppo (a very unique Italian Restaurant in town) in Northwest Austin. The cake was tiers of White Chocolate Raspberry Cake, Lemon Cake with Raspberry Preserves and Tiramisu.

I appologize for the bad background composition in this picture, poor planning on my part. But I thought the cake was too cute, not to share anyways. This wedding cake was layers of Milk Chocolate cake with Raspberry buttercream and Yellow Cake with Cream Cheese filling. All final iced with buttercream with fondant accents and lavender sugar flowers.

I love doing any order that is prefaced with, “lots of pink and glitter”. I am not a particularly girly girl myself, but it sure does make for fun cake (or cupcake) making! These cupcakes were made for a little Princess’ 3rd birthday. They were Strawberry Cake (cake bakes bright pink) and Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. They were topped off with sugar crowns and glittery princess wands.
