Recently did the wedding cake for an old high school friend’s wedding at the Zilker Clubhouse. Her photographer gave me a few shots (the one above is the only one that I took). Her wedding cake was simple and elegant, and fit with the “natural” theme they were going for quite well. The flavors for each tier were our Tiramasu, Vanilla cake with raspberry mouse and orange buttercream, and Strawberries and Cream.
I did this monkey cake for Bronson’s 1st birthday. His mother also ordered a coordianting “smash cake” (for Bronson to dig into), and some cookies as well. The tiered cake was one layer of regular banana cake, and one layer of chocolate banana cake.
I absolutely love it when people give me the freedom to kind of do whatever I want. That was the case with this client. She said, just make it pink white and brown with a fun vibe, and this is what she got. The cake was devil’s food with a german chocolate filling, finished with chocolate buttercream.
This cake was for an adorable princess themed tea party birthday for Jackie (who turned 5). When I walked into the party it was everything a little girl could imagine! The cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream inside, and they also ordered 20 matching teacup cookies to go along with it.
